What is a SEO/Search Engine Optimization? On Page SEO and Off Page SEO.

Are you worried about why your blog/website is not ranking on Search Engines. Why your blog post is not getting views. And  when you started to figure it out why it is so and during this you came across the word SEO and now you are searching for what SEO actually is.
If this is the case, you have reached to the right place in this post I'll be talking about it.
Suppose you wrote a post and it is not ranking on the search engines i.e., Goggle,Yahoo,Bing etc
Why it is happening so?
Well, it is because you haven't wrote a SEO friendly post.

What is Seo ?

It is a process where we can optimize the keywords using various paid and unpaid tools and include that particular words in our post, meta description, headings and tags/categories.we can also use Backlinks as well. We are doing this, so our page become visible to the viewers and also to rank it on Search engines. In other words we research and put those words in our post/articles that people are actually searching for. So when they will search it our post will be displayed on the first page of search engines as it contains those words. SEO is a part of Digital Marketing.

Types of SEO

On Page SEO Off Page SEO

On Page SEO is most important in SEO as it carries 95% of total SEO weightage . Whereas off Page SEO is not that important. In off Page SEO we mainly provide links of our websites/page in various social media platforms we do this inorder to bring traffic to our website.
But hey! hangout and just think what if your content is not good people will come  for once and will get disappear forever after all 'Content is the king '. Don't you worry here On Page SEO comes to play it's role.
In On Page SEO we optimize the keywords releated to our topics and put it in our content to rank it up. We can also use various tricks like putting the familiar and important headings in our headings H1, sub headings in H2 and so on. Putting catchy and optimize keywords in our description section, giving proper tags, repeating the optimize keywords and using internal and external linking.

Internal and external linking

In internal linking we link our other post to the current post by targeting a keyword so that when people will read our post maybe 30 out of 100 will click that word and we will get traffic to our other post as well whereas in external linking we link our current post keywords to other websites not to gain traffic but to help the reader to understand the meaning of complicated words or sometimes it happens that a word contains numbers of meaning so which meaning we are conveying here in our post they will get to know by it .

Technical SEO

You all have heard about on page SEO off page SEO and many people talks about it only but do to you know Technical SEO is one of the main issue that holds back a large or small website from ranking in Goggle.what is technical seo? Technical SEO is our main website which determine that how well is our website build. Many factors affect our website to get rank in Google or let the Goggle crawlers to crawl in our website. Some of the common factors are maybe it is blocked by URL parameters, the Goggle removal tool, they're blocked by a robot.txt file, wrong placing of tags and lots more. Goggle made it incredibly difficult for a page to rank in Google. So in Technical SEO we deals with this kind of problems,it is the base of SEO. And if your website is not being crawled or facing issues in crawling and if your website loading speed is slow you need to work up in Technical SEO.

White Hat SEO

It is a process of using techniques and methods to rank a website on a search engine at the same time following all the search engines guidelines. If we follow this method our page ranking speed is slow and takes much time to rank up but it is safe and after it gets rank it stays their for a longer period.

Black Hat SEO

It is the opposite of white hat seo here we use techniques and methods were we actually do not follow search engines guidelines to rank our website. Here we use various illegal practices like stuffing, link spam, hidden text, hidden link, cloaking. Here the page ranks up faster but once the search engines find that we are not following their guidelines they de-rank our website.

Grey Hat SEO

We can say that it is the midline between white and black hat seo. Where we follow some of the search engines guidelines and breaks some of them which cannot be caught easily. Many people follow Grey Hat SEO.

Negative SEO

It is a practice where we lower our competitors page ranking on search engines (e.g goggle) They are two types of negative SEO:-

  • OFF Page SEO

1-Link farms - It is a practice of black hat seo but let me clear you most part of the black hat seo is negative SEO. Here we connect multiple website by giving Backlinks also know as link farm so that a particular website will get large number of backlinks which let goggle to rank a website also baclinks will drive more traffic. The websites here may of different people's or they might be of one person only.
2-Scraping - Also known as copying or auto blog. Here people copy some of the lines or words from other websites to rank our page or create a good content.
3-Forceful Crawling - It is a Practice where a competitor crashes another competitors website but giving them unexpected load which let the Goggle bot crawlers to crawl their websites over and over again so that it get crash and get de-rank by Goggle.

  • On Page Negative SEO

1- Modifying content- sometime your competitor will come to your website and modify your pages to redirect them to theirs by using a some HTML Command "display:none"
2- Getting the website de-indexed - Obviously your competitors will always want to de-indexed or de-rank your website so that their page or will rank up. Here they will secretly access your website and will change your robots.txt file and give a command to Goggle not to rank or index your website.
3- Hacking a site - some hackers didn't use negative seo and directly hack or try to hack your website so that when Goggle will know about it either they will give you a warning saying your website may be hack or de-rank your website.

Where one can learn SEO?

Well, if you really want to learn SEO you can't learn it in school/institutions. As search Engines keep on changing their algorithms by which they rank a post, whenever Google or any search engines feels that people are slowly learning their algorithms they changes it. So when you learn a way to rank a page in search engines it might work that time but after some days it may not work. So it is totally waste to throw your money . Instead you can do organic research and rank it but make sure you have original and good content.

Some of the popular tools for SEO.

DARK WEB- "The hidden Devil"

            DARK WEB

HAVE you ever wondered how big is the internet??

What if i tell you that what you surf, what you see on google, yahoo, bing, which is visible to you only comprises 4%  of the total internet. Doesn't it sounds insane?? where is the remaining 96%?? Well rest are encrypted, what we can access, what can be directly seen, is called clear web or surface web. Inorder to access the rest part we have to get custom software or onion-type link. Lets have a look on rest parts.

LAYERS OF INTERNET:

  • CLEAR WEB - 4 %
  • DARK WEB - 6%
  • DEEP WEB - 90%

IF THE CLEAR WEB IS GOOGLE'S BFF AND DEEP WEB, ITS SECRET LOVER, THAN THE DARK WEB CAN ONLY BE THE EVIL TWIN OR THE ODD BALL.

So what actually is dark web and deep web?

Deep web: The part of the internet that's not indexed by search engines. There's nothing spooky about the deep web; it contains stuff like scientific paper, medical records,tax-related info, Paypal subscriptions, army communique and much more. Although its hidden but it can be accessed via passwords and authorisation .

Dark web: Accounting 6% of the internet, the dark web is a most peculiar blend - one the one hand its cesspool ,a rendezvous place for drug dealer, black hat hackers, hitmen and human traffickers. On the other hand, due to its covert nature this internet fold acts like a liaison between political outcasts and people of the free world. Its also used by people who wants to submit anonymous tips(Whistleblowers)

History and origin of "Dark Web"

The dark web got its start in March of 2000 with the release of Freenet(link). The most imortant Dark web development of all time happened in 2002, with the release of TOR(The Onion Router). It was created by non-other than US government, as a way to help their own operatives remain untraceable.

The reason was so that they could stay anonymous- it would be harder to distinguish the government's message between spies if thousands of people were using the same system for lots of different works.TOR now hosts roughly 40,000 hidden sites.

What actually does dark web contains?

Well this part is mainly used for illegal activities and sharing highly confidential files. Activities such as gambling, guns, chats, abuse, book, directory, blog, porn, hosting, hacking , search anonymity, forum, counterfiet, whistleblowers , fraud market and mostly DRUG activities.

Is it illegal to be on dark web?

Surfing the dark web might not be illegal, but visiting certain sites or making certain purchases, through the dark web is illegal. If you use the dark web to purchase illegal drugs of firearms, that's illegal.

The UK government have a dedicated cybercrime unit to tackle the dark web with a focus on taking down serious crime rings and child porn.

One of the famous online black market is  "SILK ROAD " and first  modern Darknet market.

Moreover, hackers are mostly active there. So there is a risk of your laptop getting being hacked or virus infected.

Conclusion

"Just like the forest, the dark web hides things well - it hides action and identities. The dark web also prevents people from knowing who u are , what u r doing and where you are doing it."

One more thing i would like to add:

Believe it or not, the dark web has online shops such as CStore,Apple Palace. And no,they don't  sell drugs or firearms. Some of them are reportedly legit and have great bargains. For instance if you want to buy a laptop or a smartphone, you can try your luck in one of this shops. Of course all transaction are anonymous and BITCOIN driven ,sure you can use other cryptocurrencies if Bitcoin is not your cup of tea.

What is digital marketing? Types of digital marketing? What ,who and how of digital marketing?

The world is evolving  rapidly, people's way of living has also been evolved. Before they buy, sale or commute with each other physically, but nowadays people's schedule are getting busier ,also many people are focusing on online platform day by day . Since the virtual world is getting a huge number of traffic and this number is increasing every day by 5%. People started buying and selling things digitally as for the buyer now it is easy to buy a product and gets delivered wherever they want without taking any extra time out of their busy schedule and for the seller it become easy to open a shop without investing any extra cost for a physical shop. This changes has given rise to the need of 'Digital Marketing'.

What is digital marketing?

In digital marketing a person uses various digital tools and platforms to promote their products or services. Usually they are same as any ordinary marketer but here they advertise virtually they uses various platforms like websites, social media, email and lots more.
Search engine optimization is a process of improving the quality and quantity of a page or a website. Basically we customize our page/website in such a way so that it can reach to the audience and rank up in the particular search engine for free of cost . Mainly we use three different types of SEO .

(a) On page SEO

Here we optimize our webpage mainly our content and HTML source code , so that our page rank higher and gets a huge number of traffic.

(b) Off page SEO

Here we optimize the things outside our webpage, mainly we provide backlinks, optimizing our search engines. Promoting ourself on trustworthy platforms vouching for the quality of our content.

(C) Technical SEO

This kind of SEO mainly focus on the background of the webpage they see the image compression, website loading speed, format of CSS coding in short they optimize every thing in the background that slows the loading speed of website, which is a important factor for website ranking in search engines espically in Google.

2. Content Marketing

This type of marketing mainly provides content in the from of blog post, ebooks and white papers, infographics etc. To promote their business, brand awareness, lead generation  and bring traffic.

3. Social Media Marketing

This practice involves promotion in various social media platforms to drive traffic, brand awareness, and generation of leads for the business. Social media platforms we can use are-
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • Linkedln
  • Snapchat
  • Tik Tok
  • Pinetrest

4. Pay Per Click (PPC)

It is method of driving traffic to our respective site by paying to the publisher everytime our ads gets clicked we can put our ads on Facebook, Twitter , linkedln etc. One of the famous way  is Goggle Ads.

5. Affiliate Marketing

This is a type of activity where we get paid for Promoting someone else's products or services in our blog post, YouTube  channels and social media platforms.

6. Native Marketing

Native advertising is a form of paid advertising in various digital platforms . Here instead of showing this ads as a ad they represent it as a part of that particular platform where it is showing mainly they show it in news feed ,stories and as recommendation to them .Here people don't get stuck or feel irritate of your ads but they can feel your presence everywhere .

7. Marketing Automation

Marketing automation refers to the digital forms where our basic marketing activities get automate. Many marketing department can automate our repetitive task or otherwise we can do it manually. Some of them are email newsletters, social media post scheduling, lead-nurturing workflows and campaign tracking and reporting.

8. Email Marketing

Email Marketing is used by the companies to communicate with their customers. Emails is used to promote content, discount, various types of events and direct them to our website.we can also ask them for suscribtion ,sent them thank you letter, welcome letter, holidays offers and follow their activities in our website.

9. Online PR

Online Public Relations is practice of communicating with our potential customers . It is much like our offline PR but here in digital space. Here we engage with them through blog post, social media ,email and some other online means. We ask their opinion on us.

10. Inbound Marketing

Inbound Marketing is practice where we use every digital tactic that are listed above to engage , delight and attract the customer to our products or services.

11. Sponsored Marketing

With sponsored marketing we pay other company or entity to promote our brand. We also pay social media influencer and great personalities to promote our brand.

What does a digital marketer do?

The responsibility of a digital marketer is same as any normal offline marketer but here they can see track their activities in real time . Their main responsibility is to bring traffic to the website, promote products and services, engage with customers, providing them update of our regular activities and build trust.

Does we require a lot of money to learn digital marketing?

No, we don't require a huge amount of money to learn digital marketing we can learn it through various free platforms on goggle, YouTube, Coursera and udemy. You can learn it with goggle Link but reading is not enough you need to practice it.

Arduino UNO.

              ARD-U-KNOW??

Introduction

Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronics projects.  Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board (often referred to as a microcontroller )  and a piece of software, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment )  that runs on your computer,  used to write and upload computer code to the physical board.

It is cost effective and quite low as compared with raspberry-pi and Nvidia Jetson

It was invented in 2003 by Massimo Banziwith David Mellisanother IDII student, and David Cuartiellesadded support for the cheaper ATmega 8 microcontroller to wiring .

The UNO is one of the most popular board among the Arduino boards.

Key Features:

The key features are:
→ Arduino boards are able to read analog or digital input signals from different sensors and turn it into an output such as activating a motor, turning LED on/off, connect to the cloud and many other actions.

→ You can control your board functions by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board via Arduino IDE (referred to as uploading software).

→ Unlike most previous programmable circuit boards, Arduino does not need an extra piece of hardware (called a programmer) in order to load a new code onto the board. You can simply use a USB cable.

→ Additionally, the Arduino IDE uses a simplified version of C++, making it easier to learn to program.

→ Finally, Arduino provides a standard form factor that breaks the functions of the micro-controller into a more accessible package.

NOTE:- At a time, only one programme can be runned on arduino.

What's on the board ?

There are many varieties of Arduino boards that can be used for different purposes . Some boards look a bit different from the one below , but most Arduinos have the majority of these components in common .
Image of Arduino UNO

(1) Power  USB - Through it we can supply power in to it by our computer or any USB jack.

(2) Barrel Jack - Through it we can supply power into it by wall power supply that is terminated in a barrel jack.

* Note - Do not use a power supply greater than 20 volts as you will overpower (and thereby destroy ) your Arduino . The recommended voltage for most Arduino models is between 6 and 12 volts.

(3) GND - Short for 'Ground'. There are several GND pins on the Arduino, any of which can be used to ground your circuit .

(4) 5v & (5) 3.3v - The 5v pin supplies 5 volts of power, and the 3.3v pin supplies 3.3 volts of power. Most of the simple components used with the Arduino run happily off of 5 or 3.3 volts.

(6) Analog - The area of pins under the 'Analog In'  label (A0 through A5 on the UNO) are Analog In pins. These pins can read the signal from an Analog sensor (like a temperature sensor) and convert it into a digital value that we can read.

(7) Digital  - These pins can be used for both digital input (like telling if a button is pushed ) and digital output (like powering an LED) . It is numbered from 0 to 13 on the UNO.

(8) PWM - You may have noticed the tilde (~) next to some of the digital pins(3,5,6,9,10 and 11 on the UNO). These pins act as normal digital pins, but can also be used for something called Pulse width Modulation  (PWM) .

(9) AREF - Stands for Analog Reference. It is sometimes used to set an external reference voltage (between 0 and 5 volts) as the upper limit for the analog input pins.

(10) Reset Button - Pushing it will temporarily connect the reset pin to ground and restart any code that is loaded on the Arduino . This can be very useful if your code doesn't repeat, but you want to test it multiple times.

(11) Power LED Indicator - This LED should light up whenever you plug your Arduino into a power source . If this light doesn't turn on, there's a good chance something is wrong. Time to re-check your circuit !

(12) TX RX LEDs - Tx is short for transmit, RX is short for receive. These markings appear quiet a bit in electronics to indicate the pins responsible for serial communication. In our case, these are two places on the Arduino UNO where TX and RX appear -- once by digital pins 0 and 1, and a second time next to the TX and RX indicator LEDs. These LEDs will give us some nice visual indications whenever our Arduino is receiving or transmitting data (like when we're loading a new program onto the board).

(13) Main IC- The Black things with all  the metal legs is an IC,or integrated circuit . Think of it as the brains of our Arduino. The main IC on the Arduino is slightly different from board type to board type, but is usually from the ATmega line of IC's from the ATMEL company. This can be important as you may need to know the IC type (along with your board type) before loading up a new program from the Arduino software. This information can usually be found in writing on the top side of the IC. If you want to know more about the difference between various IC's reading the datasheets is often a good idea.

(14) Voltage Regulator - It controls the amount of voltage that is let into the Arduino board. Think of it as a kind of gatekeeper ; it will turn away an extra voltage that might harm the circuit. Of course, it has its limits, so don't hook up your Arduino to anything greater than 20 volts.

Can it be connected to internet?

yes ,There are two ways in which an Ethernet connected Arduino can be setup:

  1. As Web Server, the Arduino acts as a web server which can be accessed from the internet. Commands can be sent to the Arduino and it can control things around the house. It can also be used to display information such as sensor readings on a web page or send stores files.
  2. A a Client, the Arduino acts as a web client and post data to a database stored on a remote server. This is particularly useful for data logging or handling large amounts of information.

Types of Arduino

Arduino makes several different boards, each with different capabilities. some of them are listed below:

Arduino UNO (R3)

The UNO is a great choice for your first Arduino. It's got everything you need to get started, and nothing you don't . It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs) , 6 analog inputs, a power jack, a reset button and more. It contains everything needed to support the micro-controller ; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a Ac-to-Dc adapter or battery to get started.

LilyPad ad Arduino

This is LilyPad Arduino main board! LilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology. Each LilyPad was creatively designed with large connecting pads and  a flat back to allow them to be sewn into clothing with conductive thread. The LilyPad also has its own family of input, output, power, and sensor boards that are also built specifically for e-textiles. They're even washable!

Red Board

It is the simplest of all types of Arduino board to code in. It can be programmed over a USB mini-B cable using the Arduino IDE. It'll work on Windows 8 without having to change your security settings .

Arduino Mega R3

It is like the big brother of UNO's. It gots the number of digital input/output pins and it contains everything needed to support the microcontroller .

Arduino Leonardo
The Leonardo is Arduino's first development board to use one microcontroller with built-in USB. This means it can be cheaper and simple. Also, because the board is handling USB directly, code libraries are available which allow the board to emulate a computer keyboard, mouse, and more.

Additional Gadgets we can Use

 (1) Sensors -

With some simple code, the Arduino can control and interact with a wide variety of sensors - things that can measure, light, temperature, degree of flex, pressure, proximity, acceleration, carbon monoxide, radioactivity, humidity, barometric pressure, you name it, you can sense it !

(2) Shields -

Additionally, there are these things called Shields -- basically they are pre-built circuit boards that fit on the top of your Arduino and provide additional capabilities -- controlling motors, connecting to the Internet, providing cellular or other wireless communication, controlling and LCD screen , and much more.

Should I buy laptop or desktop?

                                             Desktop
                                            Laptop
Computer is among one of the greatest inventions of human beings. After the invention of computer it became very easier for us to do our work. But when we go to buy a computer a question always arise in our mind that should we buy a laptop or a desktop.
So, here I have mentioned some of the pores and cons of laptop and desktop. Hope it will help you to take a proper decision .

1. Mobility :-
One of the biggest advantage that  we get in a laptop is it's mobility. We can carry it and take it to place to place and can do our work wherever we want but in desktop we can't do this.

2. External parts:-
In laptop we do not require any external devices to run it and can do our work whereas in desktop we require several devices like C.P.U , keyboard , mouse to run it.

3. Use without electric current :-
Once a laptop is fully charge we can use it without electric supply until it's gets discharge but in desktop we need a power supply to run it.

4. Space required to keep:-
A laptop requires smaller place to keep it and we can change it's position according to our need anytime but in a desktop we need a bigger space to keep it and changing its position is quiet a difficult task to do.

5. Repairing :-
Once your laptops parts gets bad , repairing it's parts is quiet difficult and costly whereas in desktop it is easy to repair it's parts.

6. Upgrading the configuration:-
Upgrading the configuration of a laptop is difficult and we cannot even upgrade it's all parts but in desktop we can upgrade almost all its parts.

7. Having the higher version faster:-
Whenever we have a higher version of any hardware parts fist it is made for desktop and then it is made for laptop . So you can enjoy higher version of hardware faster in desktop .

What is a SEO/Search Engine Optimization? On Page SEO and Off Page SEO.

Are you worried about why your blog/website is not ranking on Search Engines. Why your blog post is not getting views. And  when you started...
